  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sour cream

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour, we use Pam Baking, a 10 inch Bundt or tube pan.
  2. Mix Topping: Mix together the cinnamon, brown sugar and chopped nuts in a small bowl. Sift dry ingredients: Sift flour, baking powder and soda into a separate bowl.
  3. In a mixer, cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream until incorporated.
  4. Pour one-third of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with one-third of the topping. Repeat layering, ending with with topping.
  5. Bake 40 - 45 minutes. Allow cooling in the pan on a wire rack. Loosen the sides if needed and invert onto a serving plate.
