  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt


  1. In bowl #1 place flour and baking powder
  2. In bowl #2 place remaining ingredients
  3. Just before cooking, mix the contents of two bowls together and mix well. Batter will rise.
  4. Heat a little butter in a non-stick frying pan and spoon mixture into pan, using a desert spoon. Cover for 1-2 minutes
  5. When bubbles start to show, turn over pancakes. Cover for same length of time. When they are lightly brown, serve with honey or maple syrup. Enjoy!
