This is an amazing retreat in the mountains. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful. We hiked up the mountain and the views were awesome. Nancy is a wonderful host that made sure we were happy and content. She provided a lot of information about the surrounding area to explore. The suite was wonderful. Comfy bed, outdoor patio with lots of birds to watch and even satellite tv/wifi. Using the hot tub under the stars was so romantic. The most awesome part was having a gourmet breakfast delivered to the room. The food was superb! We will definitely stay there again! We stayed in the Agave suite for two nights to celebrate a birthday. This was our first time staying at the Retreat and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The setting is beautiful with easy access to many hiking and off road trails. Nancy was super helpful in guiding us to trails we were interested in and provided maps and directions. The breakfast she serves is outstanding and we brought provisions for our other meals. We look forward to going back again in the future!

Cochise Stronghold Nature Retreat is an outstanding place to stay in a beautiful, natural, high desert, mountainous setting! Our room, the Agave Suite, was tastefully furnished with everything we needed to make our stay there super comfortable and cozy. Nancy and staff catered to all of our requests and the breakfasts, delivered right to our room, were delicious and delectable. I look forward to returning there again someday and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in this very picturesque part of Arizona.

The time and care put into creating a warm and welcoming environment is very clear. The property is set up to accommodate meditation retreats, and thus is an ideal environment for rest and reflection. Some unique facets that the Stronghold can boast include phenomenal bird-watching, healthy and delicious meals, cleanliness, a hot tub, and a solar-heated outdoor shower.

We enjoyed the visit to Cochise Stronghold very much. The room is situated with a front porch and back patio. The breeze blew lovely through the room and we enjoyed sitting on the back patio reading. We were able to watch the birds and deer from our room which we enjoyed a great deal. There was a hot tub which we enjoyed our first night. We enjoyed that the owners were environmentally friendly. They composted, had solar water heaters and recycled. Nancy was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place for rest and relaxation.
