A group of us stayed at the Wilder Farm Inn over New Years and had an exceptional experience. The rooms were very clean, which is most important to me. The beds were comfortable. Ryan and Rebecca went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout the duration of our stay.
If you're planning on visiting beautiful Vermont, be sure and stay at the Sinclair Bed and Breakfast. My wife and I spent 5 days at the Inn, Sept 2017, and was more than we expected. Dan and Tom were extremely hospitable from the moment we arrived until we said our good-byes 5 days later. They were very helpful in recommending places of interest which made our stay more enjoyable. Every morning, breakfast was plentiful and delightful and kept us satisfied throughout the day. We'll definitely revisit the Sinclair Inn Bed and Breakfast, from Michigan, in the near future.
Our room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. We loved sitting in front of the fire reading and playing games. We went snowshoeing just across the road on the Mad River Path.
Ryan and Rebecca were outstanding hosts for our New Year’s Eve ski trip. We were close to both mad river glen and sugarbush. Breakfast was quick and got us in he road early. THe beds were comfortable and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. We hope to make it to the valley again soon and would stay at the wilder farm inn.
The location is excellent, The staff is friendly and is very good at making sure you are getting the best service with a smile. It’s a gem of a place so much charm and it’s very comfortable. The Innkeepers were always chatting with everyone like they were a big part of their family. Always asking if there was anything we needed. The Inn is very nice would highly reccommend and will go back. Delicous breakfast!!
We absolutely adored our stay at the Willard Street Inn! The owners and staff were welcoming and offered great recommendations for the area as well as a garden tour and tips. They have thought of everything you might need before you can think to need it, from guest refrigerators and wine openers to afternoon cookies in your room and the dining room, to comfy robes. The location is perfect for walking to town down tree-lined streets of gorgeous Victorian homes. Breakfast was an event every morning with a variety of delicious offerings in the beautiful and cozy solarium. We stayed in the Rose Garden room on the top floor, which had a newly-renovated bathroom with a rain shower head. It was very quiet and comfortable. Overall, we would highly recommend this inn to anyone looking to visit Burlington and the surrounding area. Such a lovely city with a fabulous food scene!
This b&b is a wonderful gem, the home is absolutely warm and beautiful. The owners and there staff were so nice and helpful with everything you need to make your stay a fabulous one. The home has 14 beautiful rooms and is very quaint and quiet. My husband and I felt right at home there like it was our own. You are also close to the wonderful downtown area of shopping and great restaurants. Lake Champlain is in walking distance and so gorgeous. We will make the Willard Street Inn our place to call home when we visit Burlington.
We had an awesome experience at this secluded historic downtown Victorian gem…we found ideally located in walking distance to restaurants, bars, boutique Vermont shops and a short car ride to downtown Church Street, the Burlington Harbor…near Burlington’s top activities…all in Vermont’s largest and artsy and Vermont sophisticated city, Burlington. The funky-fun stylish Inn offers attentive friendly and professional staff. Linda, the owner, is the most fun, eccentric, "politically incorrect" (as she proudly boasts) hostess extraordinaire...her style of hosting was to treat us/guests as if they are long time friends, and we felt lucky to stay in this special romantic hidden funky inn in the most beautiful Burlington historic neighborhood. Breakfast is provided in the cafe or parlor, on the gorgeous Victorian porch or in the back garden if the weather is good. Breakfast were more than delicious including cooked to order eggs, maple bacon, country fresh potatoes, Vermont Cabot cheeses, specialty local breads, fresh fruits, local Vermont yogurts, sweet pastries, granolas…plus juices and high-end self-service coffee machine. Wi-Fi and free (included) wine and beer (Heady Topper & Focal Banger- hoppy but great) is available and served inside and outside on the property. Our room showcased high ceilings and a wonderful antique chandelier, but the designs and furnishings were modern, artsy-hip, clean and thoroughly comfortable. Our bathroom included a large walk-in shower and Vermont shower products. The whole experience of this small private 4 guests-room all-inclusive inn included many thoughtful artistic and fun touches. This is for those who prefer a non-branded corporate hotel, a small boutique luxury bed and breakfast that is friendly to pets and children offering up a real memorable stay.
The Champlain Lookout was a beautiful spacious room with comfortable chairs to sit and read a book. Nice extra touches of luxurious bath robes, Coffee, Fruit and pastries available in the evening was great. We felt so at home here. The breakfast was excellent with a few choices not just a standard breakfast. I highly recommend The Willard Street in for a couples getaway.
First, a made to order menu with unlimited and unprecedented choices ever. Second, meticulous and decorative service by Rose Third, Anatoly prepares perfect and generous food for kings and queens.
We stayed at Lang House for one night during a weekend getaway, and it was the perfect location to head out for a meal and to walk around Burlington. Just a quick walk down the hill (but don't forget you have to get back up that hill later!) to the water. Our room was very comfortable, and service was great. We are already looking forward to a return trip!
Wilder Farm Inn was a great place to stay for the weekend. Ryan and Rebecca were helpful and friendly, and the room was exactly what we wanted. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, but everything else was very good.
This inn was as wonderful as the pictures show and even more. The breakfasts were scrumptious, leaving us not even wanting lunch!! Quiet location and we slept with the window open. Walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants!
We really enjoyed our stay at Brad and Jacquie's B&B! Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was wonderful. And although we did not use the pool, it looked to be very well taken care of and clean. Thank you for the pleasant stay!
While it was a bit pricier than I normally choose, it was the nicest place! The room was gorgeous, the gardens, the solarium, all set the scene for a relaxing day in Vermont, when we weren't out shopping and biking that is! They make your breakfast to order, and do have a vegan option of granola available. Couldn't have been a nicer stay!
My husband and I spent 3 nights at Wilder Farm Inn. We chose the Heritage room. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We had plenty of room to move around and for our luggage, etc. A private bath is assigned for each individual room. Although the bath is not attached to the room, it is a short walk down the hallway. The owners thought of everything by providing white terry cloth robes for their guests. Ryan prepared a wonderful 'farm to table' breakfast every morning. We enjoyed fresh eggs, greens, locally made yogurt, home made jam and delicious juice and coffee. The rooms do not have TVs in them, but there is one in the common area if you'd like to watch it. We did not miss having a TV at all! In fact, it was nice to just enjoy the quiet. We look forward to staying there again in the future.
Lucy was a wonderful host and the home and property were equally lovely. Four of us stayed in the Ball Room quite comfortably. The A/C cooled the room well and the shared bathroom was fine for our group plus one other guest. Breakfast was freshly baked each morning and we enjoyed it gathered around a large dining table. Would definitely stay again if in the area (not too far from Burlington either).
