Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was beautiful, big and comfortable. The owners were kind and helpful showing us a map of the area. Loved the town of Camden. I would highly recommend staying at the Maine Stay.
My wife and I recently spent three wonderful days at the Youngtown Inn while exploring the Penobscot Bay area of Maine! It was our first stay and I sincerely hope we will be able to return in the future. The Merciers are wonderful hosts, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the accommodations and dining are superb! The location is perfect for exploring and enjoying this beautiful section of the Maine coastline.
Camden Maine Stay Inn is the ultimate in the bed and breakfast experience. The ambience of the inn and decor is a visual experience. And the breakfast each morning was a culinary masterpiece. Do not hesitate to book this inn for your stay in Camden. I will be returning as soon as possible!
Annette was wonderful and we were shocked to get an upgrade to the king bed suite when we arrived. This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast and the I will definitely do it again and I recommend this location! Quick walk to Camden, great breakfast and wonderful accommodations. Most comfortable bed we slept on the entire trip up the coast!
Our stay at Camden harbor inn was wonderful! We were greeted with smiles by the friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable. The inn was located in a perfect position downtown for shopping and dining. Natalie’s was absolutely fantastic. Walking right downstairs to dinner was such a great. Wonderful experience
We stayed at the Youngtown Inn September 14-18. It is a lovely Inn owned and operated by MaryAnn and Manuel. They are friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The Inn is well situated and is an easy drive to Camden, Belfast and Rockland. It is about a 90 minute drive to Acadia National Park. A lovely winery is just down Youngtown Road from the Inn. The dining at the Inn is outstanding in every way. We cannot recommend more highly Youngtown Inn. We look forward to a return visit.
The Youngtown Inn is wonderful!!! The rooms are lovely, the food delicious, and the innkeepers, Manuel and Mary Ann, are delightful!!! We were made to feel very much at home! This was our second three night stay, and we are sure there will be many more to come!!! If you are searching for a wonderful and relaxing time in Maine, look no further! The Youngtown Inn is the heavenly place to be!!! ¿¿¿¿¿¿
Stayed recently for one night and was pleased with room condition and quietness. Be aware there is no hair dryer included.....I believe...as we were instructed to turn off the air conditioner when using a hair dryer as it would blow a fuse...hmmm??? Breakfast was a disappointment as it amounted to coffee, little cakes and yogurt.
My wife and I vacationed for a week throughout the New England states. One of the loveliest spots to stay in is Camden, Maine. The Camden Maine Stay Inn is ideally located for an overnight stay in Camden. It is very close to all the activity of the community. We would stay there again.
We stayed here before years ago under the previous owners, and the new owners, Katya and Siobhan, have transformed the Towne Motel into a pleasant, friendly place to stay. We highly tecommed the Towne Motel as an economical, convenient, and well-maintained place to spend the night, within easy walking distance of central Camden.
Our room suffered from some traffic noise--possibly the only room at Towne Motel directly facing Route 1. The bath is very modest--tiny shower, with one of those shower gel gismos instead of a bottle. The bed was fine and the room clean and comfortably furnished. A few fewer things in the room would make it easier to stow suitcases. There is no onsite dining, except breakfast, which was good, not exceptional.
The Inn is located off Route 1, down a lengthy wooded driveway opening up to a beautifully landscaped property. Being an avid gardener, I immediately admired the lovely gardens and the dedicated staff actively tending to the various gardens. We were greeted by Daina, the owner, at check in and then a tour of the property followed by Hilary, one of the friendly staff members. My husband and I stayed in the E.B. White room, the smallest accommodation in the inn, but very comfortable. The view from our deck was stunning, overlooking Penobscot Bay. Daina has thought of every detail to make sure guests' needs are met, from items provided in the room including water and sodas to the afternoon snacks and homemade desserts. Breakfast every morning was delicious, again the attention to detail was so appreciated. We were even treated to a bald eagle flying by on 2 occasions. The Inn at Sunrise Point had definitely become a new favorite place to stay, meeting our needs of being located on the ocean and a no pet/no smoking property (due to allergies). Daina and her staff definitely make you feel welcome and go out of their way to make sure your stay is memorable.
Lucky to get a brief second stay at Youngtown Inn this summer. The Merciers are so welcoming. They make you feel like an old friend coming home for a visit. As usual, the food is amazingly wonderful. The breakfast ( I had fresh pineapple, out of the oven croissants, locally grown blueberry & peach pancakes, fresh OJ and good coffee) will hold you for the day. Dinner offers an array of 5 star dishes prepared by Manuel in the French chef tradition....swoon worthy. (Dessert souffles are always terrific ends to perfect dinners) Gives "bon appetit" new meaning! Rooms are quaint and lovely. Marianne knows everything that is going on in the area and is a great resource for travelers. Hope I can squeeze in one more stopover this Fall. Loved my room with the porch...great retreat.
