We stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful place. Very close to Shenandoah National Park, in a nice and relaxing atmosphere. The room was amazing, cosy and very special. Breakfast was different every day and always delicious. The host was very friendly. We’d come back anytime we are in this region!
We loved staying at the Crossroads B&B, if felt not only like we were see history but we were getting to be a part of it. Our footsteps were where some great members of our countries history had walked. I hope to stay there again.
Brief evening stay and departure early the next morning before breakfast, so we missed out on that meal. But the owner arranged for a "go bag" with coffee, scones and fruit so we were able to snack as we deprted
We have stayed at many B&B's across the country and this was without a doubt our best experience. The hospitality of the inn-keepers was outstanding and they went out of their way to meet my special dietary needs. Our room was tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and we enjoyed our private porch. Though it was a bit early in the season during our stay, I am sure the property is gorgeous once all the flowers/shrubs are in bloom. This location is especially great if you are heading to Monticello. We definitely would love to stay here again!!
As a father to 3 kids ranging from 3 to 11 years old I found Montfair to be the perfect place for the 4 of us to spend time and relax over spring break. The cabins were appointed with everything that we needed and the property was fantastic. We spent time hiking, fishing, and just rambling around the cabin woods. We will definitely be back and soon!
My husband and I had a babymoon at the Dinsmore and it was AMAZING. Lisa, Anita, and the entire staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The room was gorgeous, spacious, and cozy, and the breakfast in the morning was one of the best we've had. I would recommend staying at the Dinsmore far and above staying anywhere else in Charlottesville. Most bed and breakfasts feel old or stuffy - the Dinsmore is fresh and renovated with beautiful design. We'll definitely be back and will be gifting stays at the Dinsmore to family and friends. We can't wait to try the new restaurant that they just opened in the Inn as well!
