We spent a few days at the Kenwood Inn as a much-needed respite after the recent passing of my mother. Pat, the Inn-keeper, was incredibly welcoming and kind. The Inn is absolutely lovely. There are a couple of pet-friendly rooms, so we were able to bring our small dog who also enjoyed the pampering of the Inn staff. A delicious breakfast was served each morning, giving careful attention to dietary restrictions. There wasn't one second of our time there that I didn't feel a sense of "belonging". The staff took such good care of our every need, even made dinner reservations for us on one of the busiest nights of the season. The room was spotless and gorgeous. The entire Inn is very beautifully decorated, right down to my mom's favorite flowers (pansies) hanging in baskets all around the beautiful porch. We enjoyed a delicous breakfast next to the koi pond in the lovely courtyard each morning. Wine and baked goods were available each afternoon as well as round-the-clock access to the guest's pantry area each day where there was coffee, tea, or cold drinks and a refrigerator for personal use. We had no need to use our car at all once it was parked in the nearby private lot. The Inn is located within walking distance of all the City has to offer, yet sits on a quiet street, which we very much appreciated. I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else in St. Augustine. The Kenwood Inn provided everything we needed, body, mind, and spirit.

I can't wait to return to the Kenwood Inn. The structure of the home and antiques are beautiful. We stay in Suite 8. There were doors to the balcony with a hammock. Our bed was so comfortable. The sheets were heavenly. The best sleep that I had in a long time. There is a huge walk in shower with jets. Breakfast in the formal dining room was delicious. Even though the dining room is very formal, there is no need to get all made up. You can sit for breakfast and retreat back into your room to sleep in. Pat is very hospitable. She joined us for breakfast and shared history about the home and St. Augustine. She conversed with you as a very welcoming aunt would. If you love old beautiful inns, reserve a room at the Kenwood. I promise you will be back. You will feel like a part of family returning for a visit. Can't wait to visit again. -Hope Tyler Raleigh, N.C.

This was my first time at a bed & breakfast and I am hooked! The property is beautiful and in a great location. Pat and her staff are amazing-- very warm and welcoming; made you feel like family. Food was delicious, rooms were comfortable and cozy. Wished the weather was more cooperative to be able to enjoy the outdoor patio and pool area-- maybe next time. Highly recommend this B&B.

Our room was lovely and include a nice sitting area. But I would say the bedroom had too many furnishings, more for looks than practical. Everything is in the Inn is set up to provide a relaxing experience. Very attentive and helpful manager, made us feel at home.

The hostess was fantastic. Her breakfast was very good. Full-filling but light. The room was spacious and well suited for a semi Hanicapped person. The whole house and rooms were clean and you felt like you were at home. If you want a little quiet place a little off the main drag then this is the place for you. We enjoyed it and will try to revisit it again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kenwood Inn. Pat and her staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were nicely appointed and cozy. The room we stayed in was " the old English suite" which was so relaxing to come home to after a busy day of sightseeing. The jacuzzi bath was a treat. The breakfast is to die for. Pat and her staff created a delicious gourmet breakfast for her guests ie. poached pear with rum sauce. Egg Benedict atop a diced potato muffin, juice or special smoothie. The menu is different every morning. In the evening wine is offered at 5 pm. There is always a goodie such as cupcakes, cheesecake or cookies on the sideboard in the living room. Don't try to diet while you are there.

Pat and her staff are lovely and make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive until you leave. The Inn is beautiful and has lots of charm/character. Loved the room we stayed in (Caitlin's room) as it was perfect for a mother-daughter visit, and it is located on the first floor. The Inn is convenient for walking to restaurants/stores and we didn't need to use our car at all. Breakfast was delicious. If the weather was a bit warmer, we would have loved to have eaten outdoors on the patio and/or sat by the pool. This B&B surpassed by expectations and I look forward to returning!
