Treat yourself to our Southern hospitality and charm! Located in the heart of the Florida panhandle, The Hinson House is Marianna's top pick for quality lodging. Tastefully renovated, this 1920's "bungalow style" home was built in 1920 and is conveniently located in the middle of historic downtown Marianna. This beautifully restored facility is designed to serve both the business traveler and area explorer. Located one hour West of Tallahassee, one hour North of Panama City, two hours East of Pensacola, and 45 minutes South of Dothan--All easy to reach, we are just 5 miles off of I-10 and ten miles from US 231. Loved the architecture of this 1920's home and seeing the scrapbook of the renovation process. Innkeepers not on site until morning breakfast but communication was great. Answered as soon as we called. We made ourselves at home in the parlor and were invited to help ourselves to coffee, wine, beer, and an abundance of delicious treats. At breakfast we were provided lots of options from fruit, yogurt, granola and oatmeal to eggs with bacon, sausages and grits, biscuits and pancakes....all the same morning! We stayed in Lafayette room but got to peek in the other vacant rooms. The house was extremely clean and so airy with the high ceilings and countless windows. Beds were comfortable. We heard train whistles a few times throughout the night which in our opinion added to the charm. Perfect location to visit the Florida Cavern State Park. We will definitely be back and have decided that B&B's are now the way to go!

My wife and I had a lovely mid-week getaway to Marianna in the FL panhandle. Nature and the beauty of the area is so well complimented by the Hinson House and the lovely family that runs it. The history of this town is rich and interesting. They have a beautiful home and it's so inviting. Quite possibly the best breakfast ever! We'll be back for sure!

My husband and I and our two toddler boys stayed at the Hinson House for a few nights. It was the perfect place to stay in between family in Tallahassee and Panama City. Rachel was a lovely host. And she was very accommodating with our dietary restrictions. The breakfast each morning was perfect. I highly recommend staying here if you need a spot in the panhandle.

Marianna is the half way point for my sister and myself. Instead of staying with family as we normally do we decided on something different. We found the Hinson House and decided to try it. We both absolutely loved our stay. The rooms are very clean and loved the décor. We did not meet the owners but the young lady who came in to fix breakfast was very nice. The breakfast was really good.Had a very at home feeling. There was complimentary cookies and drinks offered any time of the day. We had both stayed at B & B before and agreed this was one of the best. We have both made reservations to return with our husbands. I would highly recommend this B & B to anyone.

My husband and I needed a quick get away from Pensacola, FL. We stayed at the Hinson House BB. Boy, we were not disappointed. The room was HUGE. We stayed upstairs in the HomeGuard Suite. HUGE king-sized bed, heart of pine floors, onsuite bathroom (large) with antique claw-footed tub, shower, pedestal sink and antique pieces. Our bedroom even had a remote controlled t.v. After touring Marianna Caverns that day, we returned to the Hinson house, had complimentary wine, changed clothes and had dinner at Madison's Restaurant on Madison Street (another great recommendation.) We returned to Hinson House, retired and fell asleep after a day of fun, fresh air, and great food. Slept like a log......next mornig, we awoke to a gourmet breakfast. This was served in the dining room with gorgeouse antiques, linen tablecloth and napkins, and the finest period pieces. The caretakers of the property, Lilly and Dairo were outstanding hosts, cooks, and people. What a great place to stay.

I am transferred from Atlanta to Marianna and stayed with Judy and Sid Riley at the Hinson House for 50 days. Thank you for Sid and Judy! My stay was wonderful. Your home is beautiful, comfortable, flexible and all over wonderful. I was given a front door key which made my unsure schedule work well. Not being in a hotel coupled with the warm nature of Sid and Judy made my move painless. Thank you. I highly recommend this B&B to all travelers in the Panhandle.

I stayed two nights here for a weekend get-away. I was amazed when I walked back into time in this southern charm of a house. The staff were very friendly and inviting and the breakfast was phenomenal! The rooms are large, welcoming, and very clean. I have already recommended this B&B to everyone I know. My friends and I already plan to return!

I have stayed at the Hinson House and so has my brother and we both have had great experiences. I am not sure what these two women were expecting but I was very pleased with the service and congeniality of the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Riley. I can also speak for my brother that he too was very pleased overall. If you are looking for an historic home with great "old southern" charm you will not be disappointed.
The most luxurious suite in the house. This three room suite provides a beautiful sleeping room featuring a canopy four poster bed, a romantic fireplace, over head fan, and antique furnishings. The second room in this suite is the sitting room (originally the nursery) which provides an excellent environment for working or just sitting and watching television. This is the suite that is recommended for those special occasions such as honeymoons, wedding nights, or special anniversaries.
Our largest suite. As you enter through the French doors you'll find a roomy sleeping area featuring two queen sized beds. You will also find a cozy side room housing a full sized futon bed. Choose between the unusually large claw foot bath tub or modern walk-in shower in the bathroom designed with big parties in mind. Perfect for families!
This three-room suite offers a spacious room with a comfortable king sized bed. A convenient adjoining sitting room is available for watching TV or reading a book. Antique furnishings, overhead fan, and an unusual corner sink gives it a charming old time feel.
Although this is the smallest unit, it is also perhaps the most unique. Features a sleeping room with six large, swing out windows on two walls. Enjoy a private entrance that opens on to a spacious back deck.
This is the only room that offers handicapped access. The back deck features a wheel chair ramp.
The Lafayette Room is a cozy refuge, showcasing beautiful large windows and a clawfoot tub. With two Queen sized beds, it is the perfect option for families or individuals traveling together who would like to share a room.
Combine the Sadie's Suite and The Sleeping Porch! With a convenient connecting door between rooms, it's perfect for larger groups or families. Each suite has a private bathroom and access to the sitting room to hang out and watch TV together.

Hinson Casa Hashbrown Cazuela
