We thoroughly enjoyed at stay at the Brady Inn. We selected the McIntyre Room, which was spacious and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The staff members we met, Rick, Laurie, and Kim, were very accommodating and gracious. Dot, the chef, prepared a delicious breakfast for our enjoyment. We even had a chance to visit with Brady, the cat. For a dinner treat, check out Ricardo's. We hope to be back sooner than later.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. We have a wonderful staff that enjoys meeting guests and wants to make sure you are comfortable and have a great time while in Madison. By the way, we dropped into Ricardo's this evening for dinner. Aaron, our favorite bartender, has a new classic cocktail menu and the calamari was super! FYI Our daughter loves the Apple Walnut Salad with Sesame Dressing.

On a Thursday in early October, en route from Alabama to South Carolina, we were one of two overnight parties. We had reserved the Gentlemen’s Room in the Southwing Cottage which is connected to the main Brady House by a covered walkway with small tables and chairs. We arrived around 6 pm, just after staff had left for the day, so we were on our own. Fresh cookies and beverages were available in the kitchen. We picnicked on sandwiches and fruit from our cooler at a table on the walkway overlooking the back yard garden. Accommodations were clean and in good condition. Though we had requested “no air fresheners or fabric softener,” there was a definite but unidentifiable artificial scent in the room. We slept well. Train tracks are nearby, but the train whistle blew only once or twice and then quiet resumed. Cheerful staff served a generous and tasty breakfast. Photos of Brady House rooms do not adequately convey their beauty. We would have chosen a room in the House rather than the Cottage had we known the property’s layout. Extra time was spent going back and forth via the walkway to the dining room and check-out. Walking tour of historic antebellum Madison homes takes about 1 hr. following a self-guided brochure map.

Our wedding weekend at the Brady Inn was amazing, magical, epic…we have run out of adjectives. The Brady Inn was the perfect setting for our family and cherished friends to spend time together celebrating this most joyous occasion. The staff was incomparable! The individual attention to our needs as well as the attention to detail was second to none. From the fabulous breakfasts to the assistance with our lunches and snacks to the moment by moment caretaking of us during the rehearsal dinner--I can't compliment everyone enough. Special thanks to Billie, Becca, Anna, Amy, Alice, Marilyn, Crystal, John, Paul, Karen and Peter who jumped right in to help as if we were their own family. It was so great! We felt so welcome and cared for throughout the weekend. It is a time that none of us will ever forget.

Friendly, welcoming owners and staff. Rooms are user friendly and the breezeway between buildings was perfect for card playing and reading.

We had visited Madison before. but had never stayed at the Brady Inn... "Wow!" is all I can say. Made tentative plans to renew our vows on our 50th anniversary in a few years.
