We enjoyed the uniqueness of this historic building. The entire facility was clean We especially enjoyed the back porch breakfast area with all the beautiful plants and vegetation. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided a large variety of food for breakfast and it all tasted fantastic! I recommend this B&B!

I was excited to try this b&b and making my reservation online was very easy . I arrived to find a nice gentleman and kids in the kitchen who quickly showed me to my room and checked me in . I had to leave to go to dinner and when I came back after 9 pm, there was no parking . I drove around and around looking for parking to no avail . I finally parked on Univ Ave which was not too far away although it required me to move my car by 6 am. When I got to my room , there was no soap or shampoo. I didn't realize I had to bring my own . When I woke up to move my car at 5:45am , it was very dark and I nearly sprained my ankle out front . , I still could not find parking nearby so I went to a coffee shop . Therefore I missed the breakfast entirely as it did not open til after 7. I decided to book my second night somewhere else so I gave up my room even though I had already paid for it. This is not the place for me.

The Inn is very comfortable and well run. I was somewhat disappointed by a few particulars. I was here on business and the breakfast was started at 7:30, too late for me to attend. There was no in-room or community microwave so I couldn't reheat any leftovers. There was printer or office services available. It is a beautiful, historic home on lush grounds run by charming people. I'd definitely come back if given the chance.

The rooms were spacious and very quiet, allowing for good sleep. The breakfasts in the morning were ample and served on the back porch with a beautiful view of the garden. The hosts were very polite and accomodating. The parking was a little tight, but there was always parking. Overall, the stay was very good and I would go there again.

It's a heritage building, Victoria style. Very good location, near Waikiki and University of Hawaii. You can walk to find good Japanese restaurant. Beautiful backyard and very good breakfast outside. Good customer service, air conditioner sometimes doesn't work well.

Good breakfast each morning with the host people being very pleasant. Location was away from Waikiki so it was very convenient to travel to other parts of the island. Parking was tight at times but sufficient.

In the morning, you will be awaken by the singing of birds and you see the Summit of Diamond Head lit by sunrise.(From the Cooke room.) Breakfast was excellent in the lanai surrounded by the garden.. Very convenient location if you rent a car. This is an old house and there are some points to be improved. But,overall I love this B&B and wish to come back again.

Needed a place to stay in town that was near to family and not Waikiki. The location as great, room was comfortable and made us feel at home, breakfasts with made-to-order hotcakes & eggs were great bonus. As a vegetarian, the non-meat (fruits, steamed vegs, rice, etc.) options in the morning (all available without having to ask!) were a great start to the days. Having the family dogs on site too made it feel more like a friendly guest house than a hotel. Will stay here again. (Note to people unfamiliar with Hawaii neighborhoods...) I have seen other reviews pan this place because the expectation was for a new hotel feel. Before you visit, please understand that this is a historic house in one of the wetter (lots of rains) neighborhoods in Honolulu. Go expecting a welcoming old home in Manoa & you'll be good. Go expecting a modern hotel and... well, you should go to a modern hotel in Waikiki instead - there are plenty and to each their own.

This is a cozy home feel type place. Only 6 rooms, max 2 per room, and no kids. Beautiful strolling garden area and healthy breakfast options. This is our third stay now and it really is starting to feel like home!

I have stayed in many B&Bs throughout the world and Manoa is not ran as the typical B&B. We stayed almost a full week and never once met the owners or the owners family that also lived on site. Early each morning 2 young girls would show up to not only take care of guests but also serve the owners and her family. The bedding and towels are very old....I will not be returning.

My favorite cool and shady place was the salt pool hidden among tropical trees and blooming plants. Delightful and refreshing! The staff was helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was a healthy and tasteful variety of tropical fruits, pancakes, eggs, cereals, etc -- all organic and mostly local.

this historic home is old and lovely, full of ambiance of days gone by. I love the peace and quiet, the green and raucous blooming of tropical plants, and also the salt pool for cooling off and swimming. Just plain charming.

The inn appears to be on a stable track of restoration and upgrade by the current owners. Manoa Valley Inn is most appropriate for the niche B&B guest or old house lover, with the exception of those who are looking for a romantic hideaway. A few realities: There is no one waiting at the front door or in the main hall for your arrival. There is no bellman or staff to help with luggage. All of the rooms are on either the second or the third floor requiring a steep ascent up a lengthy staircase. The inn's backyard is a verdant garden space of lovely tranquility. The skyline of hotels may not be visible from the lanai, but the plantings and green space make for a tranquil haven. The small swimming pool is a nice added amenity. Breakfast was a mixed bag, heavy on vegetables and starches. The fruit was very good, but not in abundant supply. The offer of egg OR pancake struck me as decidedly less than opulent. Egg OR pancake? REALLY, at these rates. This could have been the result of a linguistic variation in the accent of our Japanese-American host staff member. Either way, the requested over-easy egg came out fried hard. The breakfast background music was calming and Zen-like but also a bit melancholy and heavy-handedly new-age-ish. The two rooms we had were clean and met our basic expectations. The bedding is in need of an upgrade. The plumbing worked. Our check-in and arrival instructions had been basic as well, leaving it to us to figure out that the rooms DID in fact have a form of air conditioning. The wall remotes in each bedroom controlled a wall-mounted cooler that restored comfort in short order. But you shouldn't have to figure out the controls yourself. Word was that once some of the big ticket infrastructure issues were addressed, the rooms would be upgraded next. Sorry we couldn't have seen the post-improvement MVI interiors. It's heartening to think that the gorgeous Manoa Valley Inn will again shine as it once did.

Thank you for the review and insight. We have just completed a major air conditioning project and all the rooms now have their own self regulating Fujitsu units. We also have a photovoltaic system and utilize the abundance of solar energy for energy. We are blessed with an English and Japanese speaking staff. If at times communication becomes tangled, our apologies. I hope you are all able to think of this as a genuine Hawaiian experience! Our food is spectacular for breakfast and is sourced locally as much as possible. For a great stay in Hawaii we believe Manoa Valley Inn Is a wonderful gem. We are a tremendous value with free parking, a great breakfast and friendly staff. Yes with seven rooms we do not have a doorman and valet. The staff will always help with all your needs. Aloha and happy travels to Hawaii. I hope to see all of you back with us! Mahalo nui loa, Mark

This B&B, the ornate classical house near the University of Hawaii, is now managed by the Japanese family, so it's very comfortable for us Japanese clients. The room is classical and large, although the bathroom is rather plain. The breakfast service is very good and order-made (but they have little milk). The location is a little far from the city-center, while there are so many connections of bus: it would be perfect to offer some bus tickets to the center.

I lived in Honolulu as a child and hadn't been back in over 30 years, so I wanted to avoid the tourist highrises of Waikiki. My wife and I were not disappointed, Manoa Valley in was lovely. In comparison to hotel prices in the area, it is a great value, and to be able to hear the birds first thing in the morning and feel like you really are LIVING there instead of just visiting is a treat. The staff are friendly, helpful and not at all intrusive. The garden is wild and lush and I wouldn't want it any other way. I almost want to keep this place a secret, as we will be staying here again the next time we visit Honolulu.

We chose this Bed & Breakfast to celebrate our 32nd Anniversary because it looked romantic and unique. Our room was the "Cooke"and it was lovely. The shower was large and had plenty of hot water. The 4 poster bed had a chandelier light above it that was charming. The flowered sheets were soft and cozy. Our breakfast on the patio was generous. It was so delicious with coffee, two types of juice, eggs,Portuguese sausage, potatoes, pancakes,& assorted breads.Rice & sauteed vegetables were offered also. The staff were friendly and polite. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return again!

Our group reserved two rooms, both were smelly, musty and dusty. Our rooms were on the third floor, no elevator, and parts of the staircase did not have handrails. Bathroom facilities were primitive. Pillows smelled musty; bedding and towels had never seen hot water or bleach. Signage for the Inn was difficult to see..we located it by process of elimination. No staff could be found when we decided to check out after one night so we had to carry our own baggage down the two flights of stairs.Certainly did not meet the expectations set by the B&B listing. If we could have found staff when we left, we would have requested a refund. Don't waste your time or money! Disgusting!!!

Aloha and welcome to future guests, I’m so sorry to hear of the experience reported below. After long flights occasionally guests arrive and find out they have not booked a Waikiki hotel with an elevator, staff at the front desk and a standardized hotel room. Our guests are greeted by a staff member or by one of the five family members living on the property. Our housekeepers keep the rooms very clean and on an occasion when something is not correct or extra towels or something is needed we are always there to help. It is a shame that these guests left without saying anything… We are here with the spirit of Aloha. Please do understand that we are a hundred plus year old historical Victorian. Our family and staff look forward to seeing you in Manoa!

Manoa Valley Inn lies near University of Hawaii up the hill and across the H-1 highway from Honolulu. It is a beautiful and majestic palatial house with about 8 rooms on the second and third floor for guests. The first floor is occupied by the host family with their dogs and cats, including Peace, a small and charming dog who greets you and cages pets if you are interested. The furnishings are beautiful Victorian era and house is magnificent. There is a garden and a pool. Breakfast is served on a covered veranda overlooking the garden, with the skyline of Honolulu in the distance. We enjoyed watching the fireworks of Waikiki from our room on several evenings. On the second floor there is a sunroom overlooking the garden and Honolulu to the South. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Our stay was quiet and relaxing. The AC kept the room at a comfortable temperature. On return visit to Oahu, I would look forward to staying again at the Manoa Valley Inn.

Friendly atmosphere, and if you like dogs they are friendly too! Renovations seem close to completion and lovely gardens that could be a bit more growth controlled. Without a car it is just a bit out of the way, until you catch on to the handy by bus system! A refreshing change from Waikiki!! And close to the university. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I recently got married in Honolulu. We now live on the mainland, but both our families still live on Oahu. We hotel hopped during our 2 1/2 week stay, so we experienced all different types of accommodations. We booked the Master Suite for the night before and night of our wedding. This is one of the larger rooms, but also the most expensive, as it includes a separate sitting room. Hotels in general are quite expensive on Oahu. Manoa Valley Inn doesn't have additional parking fees, resort fees, and includes breakfast, so it's a great value once you consider all that. But be advised that this place is older. There was ongoing construction when we stayed there at the end of May, which limited parking and during the day construction workers would walk past your windows. Because of this, management gave us a discount, which was great customer service! Also, if are allergic or have a fear of dogs, be aware that there are two dogs on the premises, one being quite large. Both are friendly though and are only on the first floor. I enjoyed our stay here, but things are dustier, have more character. I would also not advise those traveling with kids to stay here as there are a ton of knick knacks everywhere.

This historic oasis far surpassed our already high expectations. The house is a joy to explore, many secrets waiting to be discovered. And the staff was superlative- anticipating needs we didn't even know we had! A great breakfast and very comfy bedding in a quiet setting that makes it hard to believe that it is minutes away from the hustle and glitz of Waikiki. As frequent visitors to Honolulu, this discovery will be our permanent future home away from home. Highest rating in every category, including the delightful pets! Mahalo for a truly delightful stay.

Very helpful, friendly reservation care to Willie Cowart One has to be aware that it is a very old house, where no longer hold everything shines, but it has a lot of charm and it is clean. The garden has several niche areas, sadly lacking in comfortable chairs, there is only a sofa and is therefore only for 2-3 People usable. From the garden of paradise could be made. Since the breakfast area is very small, it would be desirable that the Staff is attentive and wiping down the tables faster and wet Seat cushions replaced. The location is very good, outside of tourist flows. We have everything well reached on foot, including the Waikiki beach, but it also drives a Bus near the B & B

We stayed two nights in the Cooke Room, which was very cosy, had a nice view and sufficient space. Just the washbasin taps might be replaced during the next renovation by a bit larger ones. Staff and Owners were very nice and helpful. Reading the other comments about the location and the need for a car: if you have enough time, the stroll to Waikiki is just 40min, the walk to the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific is 60min and the passed neighbourhoods are a nice view.

We had a great stay at Manoa Valley Inn. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, plus a good view of the city. The Inn itself is in sharp contrast to the towering hotels in downtown Waikiki, as it is full of charm and feels like it has a history. Breakfast on the lanai is great, among a lush garden that makes you feel like you are in the country not the city. There is even an outdoor pool tucked down the garden. Our hosts were very polite and pleasant. The only small drawback is that if you don't have a car you will need to use taxis to get into town, but the owners give you information about good taxi companies locally which was a big help. The Inn was also a location for the programme LOST which was a complete bonus for me as I am a big fan!

Manoa Valley Inn was the perfect place for us to stay after a few days in Waikiki. It is quiet and peaceful, but still walking/cab distance from lots of places. The room was quirky with eclectic decorations. It has so much character, and I understand each room is very different. I would highly recommend.

this is a comfortable B&B located near the University of Hawaii campus; our room was comfortable, but dated; the breakfasts were varied and good; the service was very good; the bathroom fixtures should be replaced with more modern units; some of the electrical outlets should be replaced to accept 3-prong plugs; parking was somewhat tedious in a small lot

Beautiful old Victorian, adjacent to Univ. of Hawaii, H1 freeway, and close to Waikiki. Excellent breakfast, and friendly and helpful staff, especially Molly. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Manoa Valley Inn very much. The house is a registered historical landmark and so is older as you would expect. The staff was friendly and helpful although we never really figured out who all the different folks were. The room was clean and fresh. Breakfast was delightful with different fresh fruits as well as cooked to order eggs and pancakes. The strawberry/coconut topping on the pancakes was wonderful. Let me start by saying that I stayed during Valentine's weekend and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I've never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and when I saw that this was close to where I wanted to be, I decided to take a leap of faith .Initially they didn't have any availability for the days that I needed but the website said to call for availability. After calling they were able to accommodate my stay with two different rooms. I am glad they did !! My first night was in the Dole Junior Suite. It had an amazing view with two beds all the room that I needed and a bathroom like no other. I love it !!My first morning I was able to meet all the staff and everyone was always smiling and so pleasant. Breakfast was good especially the homemade pancakes. EXACTLY HOMEMADE PANCAKES !! I would say that was a great start to enjoy paradise. My rest of my stay was in the Cooke room. This room had the perfect breeze throughout the night that always reassured the island feel. My complete stay of four days was remarkable due to the personality the house has from it's history and the welcoming staff that always made me feel like family.I never felt out of place. And when my day was over I always felt like I was really coming home, not just to a room.

We stayed at the Manoa Valley Inn for four nights in January 2014 - it was an absolute delight to stay there. We made our booking based on the incredibly convenient location of the property, which is less than a block from the university. However during our stay we were blown away by the hospitality of our hosts, the beautiful house and garden, the delicious breakfast and the super-cute house dogs and cat! We stayed in the Cooke room on the first floor - this room has a stunning view looking across the garden, out to Waikiki, and far over the Pacific Ocean. Other reviewers have mentioned the Manoa Valley Inn pets. The three dogs and the cat were just such sweeties! The oldest dog is 18 and a gorgeous little thing. We loved having the pets about and enjoyed their company and playing with them. However, the hosts were excellent about making sure that the animals were unobtrusive and respectful of all guests, particularly those who weren't animal people. Most of all, our hosts were lovely. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by Monica, who was just so, so helpful throughout our stay! On our first night she recommended a restaurant to eat at and made the booking for us (a nearby Japanese restaurant - absolutely amazing sashimi!), and she helped us locate any other facilities we required. Overall, all the hosts and folks who work at Manoa Valley Inn are incredibly welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. We will definitely be staying at Manoa Valley Inn on all our future trips to Oahu. It's a real gem of a place!

The Inn is situated in a neighborhood across the street from the University of Hawaii's Manoa campus. It offers a relaxed atmosphere (as Waikiki hotels do not) and it sits high enough to receive moderating breezes that act as natural air conditioning. Point yourself down hill and visit the beach any time you want or just sit in the tropical environment of the lanai and enjoy yourself.

This is the first time we stayed here and will definitely be returning next time we come to Honolulu. It is conveniently located, reasonably priced and more importantly the owners were delightful. Breakfast was delicious and we were amazed at the privacy and quietness while located in a neighborhood. The antiques created an amazing ambiance. All in all we were very pleased and highly recommend Manoa Valley Inn.

This classic house converted to a B&B is located a block from the University of Hawaii on a quiet side street. Our room (Cook) was large and had a beautiful view of the lights of Waikiki. The B&B has a lush garden and a small grotto-like swimming pool in a forest of tropical plants. The location was relatively quiet for Honolulu and had free parking unlike large hotels in tourist areas. It made driving around Oahu (do rent a car despite the traffic) easier because you can avoid the congestion of Waikiki and go to the islands best beaches. The breakfast was good - great fresh fruit - and local island breakfast fare. The place is not for everyone if looking for luxury, air-conditioning and 24 hour service. If you want a more personal island experience and do not mind a home-like atmosphere it is a great place to stay.

We stayed at the Manoa Valley Inn in April 2013. The property is located around a 40 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but that was ideal for us as we were looking for something other than a tourist trap. Manoa Valley Inn is near the main university campus which is well served by local bus routes, taxis are good too (although none of our drivers knew the Inn by name which shows what a good secret it is!). Our room was spacious and clean with nice antique pieces of furniture and a Victorian style bathroom. Breakfast was served on the lanai each day and was delicious featuring fruit, cereal, breads and other goodies. You're also offered eggs, omelettes etc. The gardens are beautiful overlooking Waikiki in the distance and Diamond Head. It also includes a small secluded pool perfect for a dip after a hot day exploring the island. They're not keen on you using the air con but our room was dual aspect and with a fan going and the windows open we got a good breeze going. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice and peaceful place to stay just near the center of Honolulu and the main H1 Hwy. You need to know that this is an old Victorian house so if you are looking for modern and new bathroom then choose a hotel in Waikiki, but if you prefer something more authentic far from the discos and the noise of the town by night this is the place to go. The people of this B&B are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good with natural fresh fruits. We liked it very much and if we go back to Honolulu we will certainly choose it again.

We stayed 4 nights at the Manoa Valley Inn in the Baldwin Room on the second floor (Cooke & Moore have views of the Waikiki skyline) in late April and absolutely loved it. It is a quaint, quiet and secluded inn that is a great escape from the Honolulu/Waikiki crowds. For the price and location, you cannot find a better deal on Oahu. My husband was concerned that there was no a/c but even though we had a window unit, we did not need it. We slept with the windows open and had a great night's sleep each night. The breakfast included hot and cold breakfast foods and drinks. The owners/staff are all friendly and totally respected our privacy but yet made us feel so welcome. We moved to a hotel on Waikiki Beach our last 2 nights and immediately longed for the peace and serenity of Manoa Valley Inn.

We really enjoyed our stay at Manoa Valley Inn. The house is a great old colonial style building, with many period details. The garden in the back is beautiful - with a nice view of Honolulu. The caretakers are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast spread is varied, healthy, and delicious! A great place to stay if you want to get away from the Waikiki madness. Thank you!

Manoa Valley Inn is a great place to stay! My husband and I enjoyed our first visit to Hawaii at the B&B and will definitely return in the future. Close to Waikiki without all the hustle and bustle. Love the salt water pool as well. The yard is beautiful might I add. It was really a great first time experience!

My wife and I as well as children (sometimes) have vacationed in Honolulu about thirty times over twenty years. We have sampled many hotels and another B&B. For a long time, we wanted to stay in Manoa Valley for its lush growth and lay back lifestyle as compared to Waikiki and other places. We were very happy to find MVI. We stayed in the Master suit. The historical mansion was well kept with excellent attention to detail. Within its confines it was easy to travel back in time and reminisce about the old Hawaii, its people, its joys and hardships. Especially, when reading a book by Jack London or Mark Twain. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The plants and flowers are so lush and expressive they almost talk to you. We didn't get to use all the place had to offer- like the swimming pool or the outdoor bed by the pool draped from mosquitos by a net canopy. I took about thirty pictures of the place, its flowers and trees, the artwork inside and outside, the view toward the Honolulu skyscrapers. The breakfasts were superb. Lots of fruit, breads and brakfast fries. We frequently skipped lunch after having a good helping of brakfast. The staff was always curteous and helpful. A very nice neighborhood. An easy drive to major or minor shopping centers as well as Waikiki, Kuhio, San Souci and a la moana beaches. Paradise Park is near, up the moutain. Next time, we hope to stay for a couple of weeks. Honolulu has so much and MVI is a great place to unwind.!

Aloha, Thank you all for staying with us! Spring is busting out with an amazing growth of new plants, vegetables and flowers, adorning our home and yours away from home. Our garden is producing vegetables and organic eggs come in from our youngest son’s farm in Waimanalo on the other side of the island. Fifteen months as an innkeeper and we thank all our guests for staying with us, smiling at the occasional quirk but sharing the aloha spirit. We are blessed to have guests from around the world who blend together over breakfast on the patio or allow honeymooners their privacy! We look forward to a beautiful spring and summer. Wherever I turn, even after 35 years here, I still find joy, surprises and happiness in the beauty of Hawaii, its oceans, greenery and people. Mahalo and Thanks. Mark Glen Ps Turning 60 in a few weeks and maybe seeing life a little different for the beginning of the next 40 years or so....expecting to live fully and enjoy Hawaii.

This 1919 victorian mansion is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The floral gardens surround the house. The breakfast is plentiful with hawaiian foods. T he staff

Though the dogs were a bit quirky, the host was welcoming and made great restaurant recommendations. The views of Honolulu and Diamond Head from the back lanai were lovely. The breakfast food was plentiful and well prepared. We enjoyed being in the University area and within walking distance of excellent restaurants. The bedroom was large and the bed comfortable. We would certainly return.

Manoa Valley Inn is a wonderful historic home. From the inviting front porch to the back lanai where a delicious hot breakfast is served, (complete with fresh island fruits) to the quaint rooms which catch the soft Manoa breezes, everything about this inn is warm and welcoming. The bed was very comfy and the towels big, soft, and fluffy. Everything was clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great visit to Honolulu and the B&B added greatly to our stay. The owners were very helpful and the meals were fantastic. The grounds are very well taken care of and the view of downtown is nice. I really like how they have taken care of the building and expect it will be a destination for a very long time.

Host Mark Glen and his wife are doing a fabulous job of restoring the grand Manoa Valley Inn, a legendary landmark of old Honolulu. Mark’s dining recommendations were spot on, from the Tsenuke to Buzz's to Bigger Burgers. The beautiful Guild Suite that we called home for four days epitomized Victorian grandeur and was perfectly comfortable and welcoming. Buffet breakfasts on the lanai, enfolded in tropical greenery while enjoying distant views of city skyscrapers, was a tranquil way to start each day. Having spent many, many vacations in Waikiki hotels, the Manoa Valley Inn is the only place we’ll stay during future visits.

This place is full of aloha. We have been coming to the Manoa Valley Inn for years, and we look forward to and cherish our time there. It's a real retreat from urban life, even though it's close to everything. The garden/pool is a sanctuary--you are surrounded by greenery and flowers and there's even a day bed to relax in. Breakfast is reliably great -- plenty of fresh organic fruit, bread, cheese, cereal, eggs, and there's nearly always a special hot dish like a curry or rice. The eggs are from a local kid in Waimanolo and are fantastic. I love the coffee. Our room was spacious, clean, and full of light, and appointed with a fun and eclectic decor. Great shower and bath, fluffy towels. The other thing we love about this place is it attracts interesting guests; we've had many interesting conversations on the lanai in the morning. We look forward to our next stay.

We are from the outer islands and come to Oahu often on business. We booked two nights in March of 2012 in hopes of finding that home away from home. NOT! We were extremely disappointed. No one greated us. When we did finally find someone and were assigned a room, it was damp, moldy, dirty. Toiletries were 2/3's empty Costco size items and bar soap (Irish Spring) was previously used. Dogs were filthy and one wore diapers. Morning coffee sat on burner for hours and continental breakfast was cheap bread next to a dirty toaster, tuna salad (?), yogurt, etc, all which had sat out for at least two hours. We never were welcomed or acknowledged by inn keeper and forfeited or 2nd night to stay at the Prince in Waikiki. It is a shame, the location was great and the building is increadable. However, the business should be reported to health department and business shut down.

Aloha and Greetings from Manoa Valley Inn, our 100 year old Victorian home that has been operating as a licensed bed and breakfast since 1980. Our apologizes to our guests who had a stay they were unhappy with. As owners we live on the property and except for an hour or two a day someone is here, available and responsive to customer needs. We have a simple policy if you are not happy. We will assist you to find a hotel room and refund you. We admit that this has happened for a limited few guests but most everyone has been happy. Quite a few guests have really enjoyed the ambiance and extended their stays and even returned to the Inn. We are sorry when people leave without sharing their discomfort and letting us know what they need. We strive to please and accommodate our guests. Please let us know what you find problematic and we will assist you with great aloha spirit. Mahalo
