Hi! We stayed in the studio offsite from the B&B this past weekend. It's a cute apartment setup . We had a whole kitchen with fridge, sink, stove, pots & pans, wine glasses, dishes, coffee pot, glasses and the whole works. Also, they had a table with 4 chairs and a small sofa. The bedroom had a small desk. TVS were in both the bedroom and kitchen/living room area. The location was great for us because we could walk to places to eat. There was a good bagel place a few doors down. Local bars, boutiques, Bucknell University, churches, and restaurants all over. The only issue we had that weekend was some noise during the evening with a detour route thru town that the trucks were taking because road construction but we are use to a little noise because we live in the suburbs of NYC. The owner did say something to my husband when we checked out and explained the detour that the trucks were taking. We had a nice stay overall. If we come back into the area, we would love to stay here again or even in the B&B next time. Also note, if you stay in the studio apartment offsite there is no elevator just stairs. We were fine with it! Kate checked us into the studio offsite. She was very nice & friendly. She gave us some places to go to in the area for restaurants. Thanks Kate!
We were pleasantly surprised to find this charming bed and breakfast. Our upstairs room had high ceilings and faced the quiet street. There was a couch and an en suite bath with a modern tub and shower. The bed was comfortable and we had our own thermostat. The stairs were a bit steep. Breakfast in the dining room had an assortment of fresh berries and greek yogurt as well as cereals and home made scones. Our host was so helpful, asking us what we would like to do in town and making suggesting activities that we enjoyed, including directions to a bookstore and a walk across the bridge on the Susquehanna River. If we pass this way again, we will be sure to stay here!
This is a great place and the host, Bob, is such a good guy. Laid back, easy going, efficient, accommodating. The place is so pretty. I didn't have any offs while I was there but my friends told me it was delicious, a really good breakfast
Perfect place to stay, near the main street. Very quiet. Bob was extremely helpful accommodating our needs to get in to the place earlier than time stated so we could ready for a wedding. Made the transactions very easy to split between people. My only regret was that I was not able to partake in the breakfast. By all accounts, it was pretty good so I rated it according to what my friends said about it
We were coming to PA for a wedding and looked on line to find a conveniently close B&B voila - Herdic House which surpassed our expectations and was most heartily endorsed (WOW) by the wedding parents! And scrumptious breakfast!
After attending a beautiful wedding in Willamsport, and saying goodbye to the bride and groom, and two other friends from far away on a Saturday afternoon, what a pleasant surprise it was to find them all reassembled for the catered breakfast here the next morning. But this made perfect sense. Where else should the bride and groom have stayed? From the moment I arrived, Lena was attentive to my special requests. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The restaurant next door is also outstanding.
