Apple Croissants

  • 4 Firm apples (a Granny Smith)
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup White sugar
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 4 Croissants cut lengthwide
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 3 Eggs


  1. Melt butter and sugar together and cook for 2 minutes in a large frying pan. Stir in cinnamon.
  2. Add apples and maple syrup and cook until tender (about 20 min)
  3. Whisk together milk and eggs in bowl. Dip croissant pieces in milk and egg mixture, then cook on pre-sprayed griddle until golden brown.
  4. To serve place a croissant half on each of four plates. Top with apple mixture. Cover with remaining croissant pieces and dust with icing sugar.
