Beasley House is outstanding. The rooms are quaint and lovely. The staff makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. They have a wine tasting in house, delicious chocolate chip cookies, which they give you the recipe for at check out, amazing breakfast, and great location. In addition, this bed and breakfast is affordable! We would totally return for another stay at Beasley House. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
I can't say enough good things about the McClelland-Priest B&B. From the moment you walk through the door, you know that you are in a unique space. We stayed in the Puccini Suite, one of the "smaller" suites, and loved it. Beautiful four-poster bed, antique furniture, roomy bathroom, high ceiling. The breakfast room was impressive. Celeste is a consummate hostess and a great breakfast cook. Downtown Napa is a short walk away. We stayed there for two nights. I would absolutely go back there if the opportunity presents itself.
Where do I begin... right from check in Carol and Jim made you feel like family. Their B&B is spectacular!! We stayed in the carriage house west loft. It was so beautiful. I almost didn't want to leave during the day but let's face it we went to taste the wine. When we came back from a day of tasting we went to the main house and had the pleasure of visiting with Michaele while she pored us more delicious wine and delicious snacks. Also she helps with any knowledge you need to know. Now to tell you about the amazing breakfasts!! Just wow!! Veronica out did herself every morning. She also makes the most delicious chocolate chip cookies you have ever tasted. I kid you not. I could go on and on about the Beazley House but the bottom line is... if you are visiting Napa for any reason the Beazley House is the place to stay!!! Bob and Lynetta Sheldon
It's like being at home! Best and friendliest way to experience Napa. Cabins are private and beautifully appointed. Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly staff. So much more comfortable than a hotel. Note: There is no restaurant on site, but I gave it outstanding as they provide a delicious breakfast basket from a top notch bakery, transportation to local restaurants, personal chef if you desire and a full kitchen for you to cook
My wife and I have now stayed at the Cottages three times. From the friendly staff, to the lovely cottages, everything about this place is perfection. You'll start each morning with a wonderful breakfast from Bouchon Bakery, use the complimentary bikes to visit the vineyards in the afternoon, be chauffeured to any of the wonderful restaurants in Napa Valley for dinner, and finish the evening with a glass of wine by the fire. It is a truly special place that enhances Napa Valley's charm.
The breakfasts are amazing with something different every morning. Both Jim and Jamie go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at home. When they found out we were leaving early the next morning before breakfast, they put together a little to-go breakfast the night before. It is walking distance to downtown Napa. It's the only place we would stay from now on when visiting Napa. I highly recommend the Inn on First, you won't be disappointed.
We stayed in the zen garden room, and it was unbelievable. I've never stayed at such a beautifully designed and well thought out suite. From the slippers, to the sake and mochi, every detail in the room was carefully crafted in the room and it was a pure delight to stay in. Now that care anddetail clearly wasn't applied to the breakfast. It was better than a motel breakfast, though not by much. The choices were really minimal, the breakfast staff not particularly friendly, and there wasn't much variety day to day. It was so disappointing we thought about going outside for breakfast. After paying so much for a night, I expected way more here. Overall, if you're willing to overlook the breakfast, 100% recommend!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were delightful, helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the property and its proximity to all things Sonoma. Thank you for a lovely experience. Can't wait to come back!
Very nice, small luxury hotel next to the Napa River. The staff was very helpful & professional. The room was clean and spacious but the gas fireplace did not function the first evening. The staff repaired the FP which worked fine the next night. We enjoyed the in-room breakfast dining as well as the evening wine & cheese event. The grounds surrounding the Inn, even though small, are very well kept and offer interesting views. We would recommend the property to others.
By far the most personable and inviting B&B we have stayed in. Brent and Chris are what makes Embrace Calistoga such an unique experience, from the smallest details, like the delicious chocolates hand made in Napa Valley, placed on the night stand, to the incredible breakfast, thoughtfully prepared snacks to go and wine pairing on the deck in the evening. We can't wait to be back in December. Stella and Dave
We loved our stay at Maison Fleurie. The location was outstanding and the accommodation was exactly what we'd hoped for, very cosy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly an accommodating, and the afternoon wine tastings in the dining room was a really lovely touch. We hope to return again.
we had a top level room with fireplace and balcony. It was all very nice. the house wine is Sycamore Lane which happens to be our house wine at our club in Naples Florida. Kinda a bit on the weak side considering we were in Napa valley. none the less the saff was very accommodating
The Inn On First is our very favorite bed and breakfast. The Inn is inviting with great rooms and perfect location. The breakfasts are incredible - worth going there for that alone. What really makes the Inn stand apart is the attention from the Innkeepers, Jim and Jamie. Not only do they make you totally welcome and at home, but they know every winery, restaurant and attraction in the Napa area, and can make recommendations to match your interests. Go here if you are going to Napa, you will be glad you did.
Another great stay at the BH. Only one night as we were passing through, but another five star experience. If you are new to the Napa area, you need the BH. Jim and Carol have been operating the inn since 1982, and they can answer all your questions and tailor a wonderful time, make reservations and help you do what you want to do. If you are old hands, like we are, the impromptu wine tastings, ambience and delightful other guests make it the best. This past week a couple of guests brought back a couple of expensive vintages from a tasting, and we had a little party, complete with hors d'oeuvres provided by the Beazleys. Check out the rooms here or on the BH website. It's as delightful as it looks. (Fred and Terry from Reno)
My husband and I stayed for two nights at Gage House. We loved everything about our stay from location, service, food and wine tasting, massage, pool area. We will definitely return.
We have stayed at Four sisters properties before. They are always very nice. Price includes a hot breakfast and wine and cheese at happy hour. There is ample parking and the staff was very helpful.
The property was lovely and very close to downtown Napa. We were able to walk to everything. The neighborhood was also very nice and we spent time walking about a lot. Our host was charming and room was excellent. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast food was not very good. However, the dining with the other guest was great. Would stay at this property again.
This had the comfort of home, but much more ambiance then my house! Everything was perfect, from the gourmet full breakfasts, with choices; the wine and cheese in the evenings; the many rooms which you can sit and read, gather or gather with friends or guests. You can even use the refrigerator and microwave if you have special needs or even leftovers. The bed was more comfortable than any hotel I have stayed. This is about my 5th or 6th visit to wine country and haven't stayed in a better place than Churchill Manor.
We stayed 3 nights at the Cottages of Napa during a week-long trip celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely wonderful. The 3 nights prior to our stay at the Cottages was at another resort further up the valley which was more than twice the cost; the Cottages was easily on par and perhaps even exceeded that experience. Customer service was outstanding. From the outset even before our arrival, Kellie was extremely helpful in planning our wine tours and arranging our driver, Armando. Armando was terrific, full of great information and took us to out of the way places that weren't on our itinerary. Mike, the owner, was always around and made every effort to ensure our stay was great. The cottages themselves are lovely. They are spacious, comfortable and have ample indoor and outdoor seating areas. The outdoor fireplace and smores were an added bonus. It was nice to have room to spread out and relax. My only 'complaint' was that there was very limited closet space and we had to live out of suitcases for the duration. The entire site is lovely, with 8 cottages situated around a green area with common seating. Although the cottages are somewhat close, they are private with landscaping and we barely heard or saw any other guests during our stay. The traffic from the highway is somewhat audible, but given the other benefits of having outdoor and green space it was a non-issue. While there is no onsite dining, there are ample options close by and the driver service to Yountville restaurants is key. Breakfast is a delicious and bountiful basket of pastries, juice and fruit from Bouchon Bakery. And because there is a small kitchenette in each cottage we made quick scrambled eggs and had a lovely breakfast outside each morning. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend and definitely return to on our next trip to Napa.
Overall it was a pleasant stay. But we were disappointed that there was no fridge in the room, although the staff kindly allowed us to use their kitchen fridge. After traveling for many days we needed to have our clothes washed, but the hotel does not provide such a service.
