We had a wonderful time. Everyone was so nice and we felt that we were family. If you need anything, all you have to do is ask. We met other travelers and still, It felt like we were all friends. The location is excellent for walking to shops, ocean, and restaurants.

We have been going for over 20 years. They are aware of our special requests and needs and take care of them without our having to ask every year. There are two rooms we have stayed in over the years. The decoration is clever and well done. The rooms are comfortable (and clean). We are constantly amazed how the room gets done almost as soon as we turn around. A very, nice touch. Dining consists of breakfast and tea. The chef does a very good job and fortunately for me appreciates the importance of chocolate a part of tea. You will get to talk to the owners who, in addition to being people-people, are very knowledgeable about all things Victorian and beyond. (They travel through Europe. This time we got great advice on Florence.) Our rooms both have ocean views. ENJOY!

With so many B&Bs to choose from in Cape May, it can be hard to narrow your search. Hopefully what I am about to say helps you decide on Leith Hall, one of the best lodging experience I've ever had. My wife and I have been coming to Cape May for about 6 years and never before have we stayed in a place so accommodating. Elan and Suzie are courteous, considerate, and professional but also very personable. Their collective knowledge of Victorian culture and travel is a treat to hear about. The entire building is authentically decorated in 19th-century Victorian furniture. We stayed in the Turkish suite which included a fridge/kitchen area, sitting room, table and chairs, a king bed, and private bathroom. Our room was always promptly cleaned in the morning while we ate. Modest though he is, Elan is a phenomenal chef, and his experience shows with every breakfast and afternoon tea. Do yourself a favor and stay at Leith Hall. Conveniently located, friendly staff, and it's sure to be a fine addition to your stay in the already-beautiful Cape May.

This was our first trip to Cape May. We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary. We have stayed at B&Bs before , but this was absolutely the BEST! Room was amazing. Breakfast as well as afternoon tea were wonderful. Susan and Elan are gracious hosts and we did not want to leave. This is going to be a place we return to. M &S Ringtown, Pa

What a fun B&B. Leith Hall truly captures the Victorian era décor and ambiance, while being very comfortable. Returning to Cape May for the first time in 20 years, we were looking for an ocean view room for our one early Springtime night in Cape May and had a supreme view from our spacious 2nd Floor Suite. It was an easy, short walk to the ocean. We have always loved the Bradbury & Bradbury Art Wallpapers since seeing them in the Ebenezer Maxwell House Mansion Museum in Germantown/Philadelphia, PA, and so, were very pleased to be able to see them put to beautiful use and to live in such a fun space for a day. The innkeepers, world-adventurers, Susan and Elan, were very personable, and gracious, knowledgeable, and present. The afternoon tea was a wonderful respite. The buffet style breakfast was very good ~ delicious thick slices of Challah French Toast, Sausage, and Fruit Bowl on our morning, Some B&B's we've stayed in ~ in PA, New York, and California most recently ~ offered a larger spread or more breakfast choices, but the Leith Hall breakfast was gratifying. We also liked the location of Leith Hall - close to the ocean, and to the Washington Street street-mall. We will want to stay at Leith Hall on our next visit to Cape May - which we hope will be within the next year (and not the gone too long twenty years!).

The room was wonderful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so good, sitting on the porch watching Cape May start the day was very relaxing. I know it is an innkeepers job to be NICE,but Susan and Elan truly ARE nice. Most thing you want to do are in easy walking distance even for seniors like us. We had a great time.

This was our 2nd visit to Leith Hall. We loved that the room was on the 1st floor and that they were spotless. The bathroom was the only problem we had with the room as it was extremely small. We also liked that it was a half block from the ocean . Susan and Elan could not have been nicer and we learned so much about the area and the homes from both. The breakfasts were good and plentiful. I would recommend Leith Hall to anyone who would enjoy a very Victorian atmosphere.
