Pat and her team do an amazing job of making sure all their guests are well taken care of. They are attentive and accommodating during every step of the way. They are our go-to location in St Augustine.
My husband and I had never been to St. Augustine prior to our visit to the Kenwood Inn. We arrived late but the inn owner, Pat had our room waiting for us. When we woke up the next morning - WOW! Words cannot describe how impressed we were with the Kenwood Inn. We were surprised each day with a new and wonderful breakfast buffet and the staff was absolutely amazing. Pat greeted us with a warm hug and we looked forward to having our morning talks with her each day. We took our small dog with us but he decided to be a bit of a pain and bark in our room and Pat was very kind about it. She called to let us know and we ran back and took him out on the town with us so that he wouldn't be an inconvenience to the other guests. We are all ready planning out next trip (without fur baby) and we will not consider staying anywhere other than the Kenwood Inn.
The staff and owner were very welcoming and the location was convenient to historic St. Augustine that was within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with eggs benedict, fruit, yogurt, pastries, etc... was so filling and delicious. Kept me going for another day of sightseeing. The rooms were delightfully furnished as was the rest of this historic residence. The pool and yard are well laid stocked with chairs and loungers for a quiet afternoon of relaxation when taking a break. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting St. Augustine.
The Kenwood Inn is our favorite place to stay. The feeling of coming home my girls and I feel when we stay there. The staff is wonderful to us. The rooms were just right for us. Our room was on the ground floor and there was no noises. The pool was great, the inn is in walking or biking distance in to the heart of town. Breakfast was outstanding. Our favorite B&B to stay.
right in heart of historic district. everything is in walking distance. you do get a voucher for breakfast and a voucher for the tinimartini bar. they did have a sleep number bed which i have never used and couldn't get my right number. but it was okay. not fond of all the decorative pillows on the bed but i guess some people like that. stayed upstairs and had a nice porch overlooking the street. it was okay in the evening but during the day it was too hot-but again it was in august.
Had a wonderful stay and visit to St. Augustine. The room was awesome. The “Southwind” was the name of the room. The staff was nice and offered great service. The breakfast was exceptional and tasty! It was like a step back in time which we enjoyed! Highly recommend the visit and stay!
We loved our stay from mornings with coffee on our balcony to wine at the pool later in the day. Breakfasts were delicious! Our room was so pretty and the shower was awesome. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful in making this a wonderful trip.
This was our second stay at Casablanca Inn on the Bay. The staff was very accommodating and dog friendly, made us feel welcome to be there. The food and drink values are excellent. The rooms in the carriage house on the street are convenient, a lot to see and do a few steps away.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Kenwood Inn. From the moment we walked in to check in with Pat, we felt very welcomed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Inn itself is gorgeous, with beautiful decor inside and a very nice outdoor pool area. We would definitely stay here again!!
This B&B is one of my favorites anywhere! The room was beautiful, innkeepers are friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The inn is on a quiet street. It’s a short walk to restaurants and shops of St. Augustine. There’s plenty of parking onsite, so park your car and enjoy a nice, relaxing getaway! I strongly recommend the Saragossa and will definitely return.
Great location - close to everything in the historic district. Friendly, efficient front desk and housekeeping staff. Room was a bit small but very clean. Nothing fancy, but nothing to complain about UNTIL.... we dined in the hotel restaurant, "Brunch". It was miserable. From the peeling paint to the slow service to the rude attitudes of 2 out of our 3 servers, it was a nightmare! We saw our food sitting ready in the kitchen window for over 15 minutes while the server gabbed on the phone, then when we finally complained to the front desk, our food was brought out cold - the grits were hard as a rock and the eggs like rubber. She tried to argue with us and say that it was our fault that food was inedible - that we should have ordered something better. We are very nice people and just couldn't believe it. Got up and left on the second morning of poor service, and we will never stay at the Casablanca again because of it. It is very sad that such nice service from everyone else was just erased because of the rudeness of some of the dining staff. Restaurant not recommended, but great location if you eat elsewhere! - Alison P.
Loved the "oldest" hotel. Great breakfasts (especially those smoothies), saltwater pool (3' to 6') and exceptional owner (Pat) and staff. Koi Pond Great advice on places to go and how to get there. Will definitely stay there again.
A beautifully welcoming and elegant B&B. My husband took me to St Augustin for my Birthday celebration.Gorgeous room had a super-comfortable bed with top quality linen ,big jacuzzi tub ,private patio. Such a wonderful experience, our hostess Pat was so gracious, she made us feel very welcome. Her attention to details amazing . There was "happy hour" at 5, and wonderful pastry put out in the afternoon. Breakfast was delicious and very elegant out on the terrace. There is also a great saltwater pool. If the beach is your desire, she also provides beach chairs and towels. Location is so convenient and quiet at the same time .You can wander down St. George Street where there is so much to see. You really feel like it’s home..I slso was excited that I was ablr to bring my small dog.The staff just went out of there way to make us all feel so very comfortable. Thank you again . My husband and I will definitely be coming back !
Amazing stay!! Fantastic home. We stayed in the lavender room. It was cozy and beautiful. I knew it was a small bathroom , which was no problem. If you are not a small person dont go for this room as it will be a disappointment.
What a delightful surprise when we arrived to such a beautiful picturesque inn. Pat, the owner, came out to greet us and showed us where to park our car for duration of our stay. We were 3 women on a "girlfriend" getaway and were given the Caitlin Siote which was 2 beautiful bedrooms separated by a pocket door with 2 full bathrooms and a door leading to the back porch which was were breakfast was served on white tablecloths with flowers every morning. The time and effort put into the presentation of this gourmet breakfast was only surpassed by the deliciousness. Perfectly located to everything you want to see and do. Pat and her staff could not do enough for us.
Not your traditional B&B. They have a restaurant and bar located on 1st floor, service and food was good. As a guest on the hotel you have a credit and order from the menu. Some maintenance and fresh up is needed to the property. Enjoyed our stay
Several times a year we book The Casablanca Inn for a quick get away. We have always been pleased. Sitting right in the middle of St. Augustine you can walk to everything. And OH The Tini Martini Bar is such a treat for afternoon cocktails.
