The innkeepers are a very nice, cordial couple who are attentive to their guests. The served a very good breakfast. The room was cozy and very nicely decorated. They even recommended a "Local" restaurant that was obviously a locals hangout with very good food. If you're visiting Montecello or the Charlottesville area we would highly recommend The Inn at Montecello.

Fantastic experience in all regards. Had room for two nights. Used it for bridesmaids to prepare for weeding then for daughter and son-in-law the night after her wedding. Could not have been better. Bob and Carolyn are the nicest folks and very accomodating. Pictures there were beautiful as the home and grounds were very pretty and well kept. We would strongly recommend the Inn.

Great innkeepers and excellent breakfast! Location is a few miles from Monticello and Ash Lawn- you can not get accommodations closer to these sites. About 3 miles to UVA and the downtown outdoor mall, which is very quaint and full of dining and shopping option. The rooms on the bottom floor have a private deck. Our shower was wonderful and the high thread count sheets were an unexpected treat. Grounds are lush with plantings and the owners have chickens that meander around the property. Lovely guests congregate for wine in the evenings and breakfast in the morning. Private time may be spent on the front porch or away from the house in the front yard there are several seating areas. Innkeepers give all guests great advice on restaurants to visit according to your desires your desires in tastes and costs. Very professionally run and efficient operation!

A comfortable inn with an ideal location. Breakfasts were below what we have experienced. Quantity of food was fine but not the caliber of "gourmet" breakfasts

A lovely house on beautiful property. Our room was very attractive and comfortable. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped through the front door. Our breakfast was very good, and enjoyed meeting and talking with the other guests over breakfast. Great location, close to Monticello, Michie Tavern, Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge Parkway, among other locations.

Whether you come to Charlottesville for the history, the wine tours, or a romantic getaway, the Inn at Monticello is a perfect destination. Delicious breakfasts. Wine poured at the appropriate hour. Cookies at bedtime. The rooms are beautiful and hosts, Carolyn and Bob, are experts at Virginia hospitality!

We had a delightful two days at The Inn At Monticello. The hosts were a pleasure to meet and talk to. They serve wine and cheese at five pm, when they light a fire in the fireplace and invite guests to relax.

My wife and I wanted to visit Jefferson's home and found the inn's location—almost at the beginning of the Jefferson Parkway leading to Monticello—too enticing to pass up. But as a bonus, the inn is everything described on its website—elegant, comfortable, “fine food and great company”—what you see is what you get—a most enjoyable experience! Don’t pass up the afternoon/evening beverage and cookies and chatting with other guests. Many thanks to Bob and Carolyn for their warm hospitality.

There were 3 in our party and we each had our own bedroom. The bedrooms and baths were spic and span. My bed was wonderful. I don't know what sheets were on it, but I believe they were the best I've ever slept on. The hosts were welcoming and so helpful, offering suggestions for dinner (which we used and the food was great). We had a wonderful breakfast with a group of guests that included international representation, so the conversation was very interesting. I don't hesitate to recommend this B&B.

We enjoyed delicious breakfasts here and met interesting guests from many parts of the country. Our host was gracious and helpful. The high thread count sheets were much appreciated :-)
