A group of us stayed at the Wilder Farm Inn over New Years and had an exceptional experience. The rooms were very clean, which is most important to me. The beds were comfortable. Ryan and Rebecca went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout the duration of our stay.
Our room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. We loved sitting in front of the fire reading and playing games. We went snowshoeing just across the road on the Mad River Path.
Great location near Mad River Glen and Sugarbush. Nice great room with cookies available pretty much all day. We had a king room on the third floor....it did tend to get a bit hot (heat rises). But I prefer no one above us for noise control. So not really a big deal. Breakfast was awesome! Bob and Allen truly made us feel welcome. Really a great place to stay at a reasonable price. Already booked our next stay...
Ryan and Rebecca were outstanding hosts for our New Year’s Eve ski trip. We were close to both mad river glen and sugarbush. Breakfast was quick and got us in he road early. THe beds were comfortable and the cleanliness exceeded my expectations. We hope to make it to the valley again soon and would stay at the wilder farm inn.
I stayed for my son's ski camp at GMVS and I loved it. Right across the street from Mt Ellen, very near town, with an extremely cozy and conformable lounge that has a classic Vermont fireplace and new cookies every day make this inn perfect. I will be back.
My fiancee and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Inn at the Round Barn. Usually visitors to Stowe, we decided to venture further south this time. The Inn is charming, cozy and comfortable. The shared facilities are well kept, and we had a great time playing pool. The rooms are lovely with comfy beds and lots of space. Breakfast was exemplary.
Loved the quaint, quiet charm of the Inn. The room was clean and well lit, the bathroom, while small, was also clean and adorable. Breakfast was tasty-- simple but quite yummy. Dining at American Flatbread was an experience beyond compare-- delicious meal, service and ambiance-- all fueled by love, vision and artistry of word and food. I recommend Lareau Farm Inn and a dinner at American Flatbread for anyone seeking a respite from the world. Breathe deeply. Be charmed.
We had an awesome experience at this secluded historic downtown Victorian gem…we found ideally located in walking distance to restaurants, bars, boutique Vermont shops and a short car ride to downtown Church Street, the Burlington Harbor…near Burlington’s top activities…all in Vermont’s largest and artsy and Vermont sophisticated city, Burlington. The funky-fun stylish Inn offers attentive friendly and professional staff. Linda, the owner, is the most fun, eccentric, "politically incorrect" (as she proudly boasts) hostess extraordinaire...her style of hosting was to treat us/guests as if they are long time friends, and we felt lucky to stay in this special romantic hidden funky inn in the most beautiful Burlington historic neighborhood. Breakfast is provided in the cafe or parlor, on the gorgeous Victorian porch or in the back garden if the weather is good. Breakfast were more than delicious including cooked to order eggs, maple bacon, country fresh potatoes, Vermont Cabot cheeses, specialty local breads, fresh fruits, local Vermont yogurts, sweet pastries, granolas…plus juices and high-end self-service coffee machine. Wi-Fi and free (included) wine and beer (Heady Topper & Focal Banger- hoppy but great) is available and served inside and outside on the property. Our room showcased high ceilings and a wonderful antique chandelier, but the designs and furnishings were modern, artsy-hip, clean and thoroughly comfortable. Our bathroom included a large walk-in shower and Vermont shower products. The whole experience of this small private 4 guests-room all-inclusive inn included many thoughtful artistic and fun touches. This is for those who prefer a non-branded corporate hotel, a small boutique luxury bed and breakfast that is friendly to pets and children offering up a real memorable stay.
I've stayed at the Round Barn on many occasions and I can't think of a better place for a VT getaway. From the ponds in the Summer to the Snowshoeing in the Winter. Kim and her team make you feel like you're part of the family. The Richardson Room is my favorite!
We just stayed overnight to attend a nearby wedding, but loved the inn and found our room extremely comfortable. It was a welcome relaxing haven after an exciting and fun celebration! Breakfast next morning was delicious!
Great weekend retreat for couples! The facilities and staff were outstanding! Convenient location provides access to all the local attractions. Farm to table morning breakfast very filling. House staff met all our needs during the visit. Inn located next to American Flat Bread...wonderful rustic dinner experience.
I made a last minute reservation and the accommodations were great. Every one was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was fabulous. I’ve recommended this place to my friends.
