We have stayed at least 6 times at the Dry Ridge Inn and will continue to stay whenever we are visiting family in the area. Every detail is perfect for the home’s era; the breakfasts made by Kristen are much better and more beautifully presented than any of the Asheville 5-start hotels, Howard is very knowledgeable about everything Weaverville and both the Dusenbery’s are indeed attentive and gracious hosts! Even the floors have a delightful squeak! Summertime is great for the koi ponds, outdoor breakfasts and occasionally hearing Howard play the bagpipes, kilt and all! Thank you, Kristen and Howard, for another exquisite B&B stay!!!
Our stay at DryRidge was perfect!!! The room was immaculate and the food was delicious and they were able to make accommodations for my gluten free diet. The innkeepers were helpful, informative, and charming. We will definitely stay here again!!
We loved our stay at the Dry Ridge Inn. It was extremely clean, a gr at value, and the inn keepers are full of personality!!! He food was excellent and they accommodated my gluten free diet with a delicious menu!! Our room was spacious and there had lots of little extras that made our stay perfect!! I will definitely be back!!
My first experience at a B&B. The Dusenbery's are excellent host and have carefully thought of ever detail. The breakfasts' so well planned. Kristen is an excellent cook and planner for the meal. Can't wait to return to Dry Ridge Inn!
Very nice home reminds me of my mothers house the inn keepers Howard and Kristen are great host with very good local knowledge, our visit was to see something different we visited Biltmore estates and the town of Weaverville, Downtown is great just 1 to 3 blocks from inn, started out our morning with a great breakfast from out host, Food came out looking just like pictures on their website and tasted great as it looked each day was different and great, stayed in Davidson room on 3rd floor, room was very clean, quite and peaceful, will definitely stay at inn next time we are in area, Weaverville has several great restaurants just a short walk from inn 1 to 3 blocks away 7 or 8 placed to eat Blue mountain Pizza a Favorite with live music every night 7 to 9, Staying at inn with Kristen and Howard was like visiting out of state and staying with your aunt and uncle, great atmosphere and great company.
A warm and inviting b&b. The rooms are lovely and the beds are comfortable with nice linens. Everything is clean and well kept. The front porch is a great place to sit and read or rock or just watch the trees. The breakfast is exceptional. I've stayed here several times and have never had a bad experience. Only 10 minutes or so to Asheville.
Beautiful home, lovely, comfortable and clean rooms. Inn keepers are great. The breakfast, oh my, so good. I have had the pleasure of staying here 3 times and have never been disappointed. Weaverville is close to Asheville and has several nice restaurants in the little town. I highly recommend this B&B!
My daughter and I stayed for 5 days when visiting family in Weaverville. I was overjoyed to not only find a place 5 minutes from my family, but at an absolutely wonderful price. But it turned out to be the second best thing about our visit! Seeing family being the first! Howard and Kirstin are amazing. Our visit was so enjoyable. I highly recommend. It's close to Asheville without the prices of Asheville. The Inn is cheaper than most hotels I check out. I will be back! Marilyn Potts, Glen Burnie, MD
This place is so charming, and the hosts make you feel welcome. There is a lot of history here! The rooms are the cleanest I've ever stayed in, and the breakfasts were yummy! Fantastic walkability to the little main street which has fun restaurants and taverns.
The inn was beautiful and our room was cozy and very comfortable. Howard and Kristen were wonderful and extremely accommodating. Also, Howard's morning talks on everything from the weather to current events to Presidential history were very entertaining! We are looking to buy property in the area and we will definitely be back. Thank you again, Kristen and Howard, for a wonderful weekend!
We didn't want to "fill in dots" that might be misinterpreted, but the review form requires dots to be filled in, so there you are. We would rather say that our single night at the Dry Ridge Inn was a good experience and we will return whenever we can. Hosts were very gracious, very informative; accommodations were very nice -- quiet, comfortable, far more to see and do in this home than we had time for; breakfast was delicious and filling. Our only regret is that we could only stay one night on this visit.
Dry Ridge Inn in Weaverville is a wonderful B&B. One of the best we've ever encountered. Lovely home. Gas fireplaces in the room make for a romantic stay. Wine, coffee, juice, snacks available at all hours. Kristen and Howard are magnanimous hosts and serve mouth watering breakfasts. We'll certainly visit again.
We needed to just stay one night. Most B&B's have a 2 night minimum on the weekend. Howard said he would get back to us if they still had rooms available the week of our stay, and that they would open them up for a 1 night accommodation. He did as he said, so we were able to enjoy the inn. The location is very convenient off I-26. The breakfast of stuffed french toast was awesome!!!
Beautiful B&B and grounds. It was super clean and welcoming. Delicious breakfast meals, wonderful hospitality from the Innkeepers throughout our stay. Our room was so nice, comfortable mattress, soft linens and there was a gas fireplace in every room. We spent quality time in the parlor with friends in front of fire each evening after returning from dinner. We highly recommend the Dry Ridge Inn and are looking to schedule our next visit in the fall.
My wife and I have stayed at the Dry Ridge Inn now on numerous occasions. This is the place we want to stay when we visit Weavervile/Asheville. Howard and Kristen make you feel like family and assist you with making your stay in the area a pleasant one. My wife has certain dietary needs and they occomodate very well. Their suggestions for dining in the area or things to see or do are very helpful. Weaverville and the Dry Ridge Inn make an excellent area to stay, but still be close enough to all that there is to see and do around Asheville. You will also not find a better value for accommodations in the area.
The inn was in an excellent location. The service and cleanliness is unbeatable. The dining was magnificent! The recipes that the cook used were out of this world! I would definitely recommend and will probably be going back!
Even that Weaverville is a small town, is beside Weaver that has a Mall and other conveniences for a great stay. But really you would not need anything since the BB is well supplied and in this small town you will find anything you need.
I was in town for a training conference and this was a lovely place to stay. Not only were they helpful, funny, and outgoing, but they made all of us feel right at home. I stayed on the top floor in the most private and darling room, that I know when I return next year, this is exactly where I will stay again. (...and the breakfasts were creative and out of this world.)
