Needed a temporary lodging for my mom. Morgot got me free breakfast every time I came over to visit my mom, and it was much better than continental breakfast in most hotels. The place is well maintained. Toiletries are high quality. Margot also offered to help find an apt for my mom who's wasn't familiar with the area. Great place to stay overall.
The location is lovely and convenient: sophisticated suburb of Boston and walking distance to food, etc. The hostess goes over the top to exceed traveler's expectations. Not only are the rooms immaculate but the outdoor gardens and indoor flowers are exquisite. Breakfast is out of the ordinary. You will want to come back just to have a afternoon tea with the hardworking owner.
Communication with the owner on the day of arrival was difficult. She was off site. 2 abandoned vehicles were parked in the driveway. The owner entered the room with a key and left a rude note on the bed, while I was out walking. Breakfast (not so hot) was served on a desk in the small bedroom..There wasn't a dining room on the first floor. The photos are misleading.. The room and hall was too crowded with furniture and excess stuff.
Clean, comfortable & convenient! Reasonably priced with gracious hospitality-an innkeeper that caters to her guests. For example Innkeeper made a special trip to the store for premium orange juice. A great alternative to the branded hotels nearby.
We had a wonderful stay at the Wellesley Bed and Breakfast. It is located right across the street from a beautiful trail which was perfect for my morning run. Margot also made us a healthy breakfast with low carbs at my request. She even gave us a personal tour of Wellesley College's private lake. I would highly recommend staying there.
The owner was very accommodating and helpful, easy to reach if there was a concern, the location is easy get to and close to where I needed to be. Many amenities to make one very comfortable. Fragrance free and organic food - exceptionally good.
