My husband and I had a lovely weekend getaway in Wimberly. We loved that this was secluded and off the main road. The rooms are very nice and clean and the hosts were very friendly. We will stay here again.
So we have just returned from our second stay at the wonderful Sage Hill Inn. The second we arrived my wife and I could feel the stress slip away. The views are spectacular and it is so quiet and peaceful here, you can't help but forget about the "real world." The food is amazing. The rooms and beds are amazing. The staff are amazing. We are always sad to leave, but know we will be back next year for another wonderful relaxing time. Thank-you.
We stayed here for the weekend. Our room was nice and spacious. The bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've ever experienced! Service was friendly and courteous. Every morning we had homemade breakfast waiting for us in the front lounge area. We had a lot of privacy. The nice thing about the inn is that it's right in the middle of town so you have a parking space at the inn and everything you would want to do is within walking distance. I was concerned that it might be too noisy staying here since the location is in the middle of town, but it was quiet and peaceful inside the inn.We had a great time and would stay here again.
Meegan and Keagen made us feel so welcome and at home. Our rooms and beds were so comfy and i slept like i do at home. Meegan made a yummy breakfast the next morning and it was great sitting around the table chatting with the other guests.
pulled up to the place from an unkempt back road and had some concerns, but that was the only down point of the trip. once we saw the front of the building, we saw the property is clean and taken care of. Once we stepped inside, we felt comfortable and welcomed. The family that owns and runs the place is present, but unobtrusive. Also happy to talk to you and answer any questions. The bed was super comfortable, everything was clean, and it was spacious. Can't wait to have a reason to go back!
I would love to keep this place for myself. The accommodations were beautiful, the food delicious and Belinda and Steve were wonderful hosts. We were looking for a very relaxing weekend and it was great. All the rooms are under one roof. That was was not an issue for us. There was a bachelorette party there. The girls were very considerate and not a problem. We are looking forward to our next visit there.
Mother daughter get away was made wonderful because we stayed at Square Inn with Keagan and Meegan. They do a great job of making you feel comfortable and at home. Short walking distance from shops and dining.
Besides being a beautiful home on a gorgeous property, the location is perfect for getting around town, shopping and dining. The buffet breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed use of the common areas for relaxing and watching TV. Martha made us feel very welcome and took care of our every need. We will return.
My husband, and I along with our 9 month old daughter stayed two nights in this lovely space. Megan and Keegan, the innkeepers were wonderful, kind and made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, the room was comfortable and Wimberely is a great town! Hope to do this again someday, blessings.
Pat and Bill were great hosts. They had a restaurant and activity guide and helped us find our way around town. The property is beautiful and in a great location. We will be going back and suggesting Creekhaven to our friends and family!
We came here for our anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better place. The hosts were friendly and provided a wonderful breakfast. The place is located minutes from downtown and is central to all the activities we had planned.
great and secluded getaway that was close to some great places to visit and eat. Short distance from our home (about an hour), but was very special. Food was OK, but not outstanding. We were there on Sunday/Monday so almost had the place to ourselves! Would like to return in the spring...
If you love nature while staying in luxurious quarters, this is the place for you. The Inn is situated on Cypress Creek so you can play and float in their section of the creek under tne shade of beautiful old Bald Cypress. Towels, float, kayaks provided. Lots of outdoor furniture on the lawn near the creek and their patios. Room was very large and spacious with lots of light, a free standing tub in the room with a shower in bathroom. Only thing we didn't like in our room was the door to the bathroom was a swing gate that didn't stay shut and didnt go to tbe floor so no privacy but that is something that can easily be addressed. Owners were great and made terrific buffet breakfasts. You can also cross the creek on their property and land in the Blue Hole Regional Park, which we did to take a hike before breakfast. We were only there for 2 nights so did not get to do everthing the town offers. Leaning Pear and Jobell's restaurants offer excellent food and there is a wonderful bakery right next to the Leaning Pair. We also wandered the square shopping. I would definitely stay at Creekhaven again.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Inn....we enjoyed being right on the river and having assessable items to enjoy the river....the staff was very friendly and there when needed...can't wait to go again.
We have stayed at this darling inn several times. It is a great place to come and reboot. The scenery is gorgeous. The rooms are cute and comfortable. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is an ease about this place that lets you unwind.
This bed and breakfast has a beautiful view and is the ideal location spot for everything in this quaint town. Their breakfast is also exceptional and it was amazing to to see the beautiful view while enjoying it breakfast outside. I highly recommend this for a nice, quiet and romantic getaway.
