We went there for our 5th wedding anniversary. We stayed there once before and knew it was perfect for us. The creek is beautiful and the peace and quiet were what we wanted. We also love the breakfast they serve. The staff are nice and helpful. It's very clean and definitely a place we will continue to use.
I can see why Blair House is rated so high. It is a wonderful place to relax & commune with nature or go into town for quality shopping. The staff & management are terrific! The food is delicious & presented so well. Looking forward to my next visit!
Stayed in a cottage from Tuesday through Friday morning. Accommodations were very comfortable and breakfasts were superb . We really enjoyed the area and took in some of the local sites and eats. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a very relaxing get away.
We came for our babymoon and were very pleased! Our room was awesome (Wallace Room) and private and clean. We did a lot of relaxing, reading, and eating. We'd recommend this place for a super chill weekend with beautiful scenery and romantic ambiance.
We were looking for a friendly bed and breakfast near a music festival we were attending and an internet search came up with the Square Inn. It was a lovely surprise! The Inn is charming with very comfortable accommodations and very personable hosts! Our only regret is that we didn't have time to explore the town of Wimberley, a music and arts mecca in its own right. Next time...
Donna and David were excellent company and as luck would have it, we shared common interests. The breakfasts were delicious as were the settings, whether inside or outside on the porch. My wife and I have been coming to Wimberley once a year for many years and this was the most relaxing accommodation we have ever stayed in.
I want to start off by saying that the staff was extremely nice. The area was perfect with little shops just around the corner. The security was good, the courtyard was cozy, the breakfast was yummy but having to pay a dollar for a soda was questionable when everything else was complimentary, and the rooms were satisfactory but could be better. The bed frame extended out too far so we constantly hit our shins, the shower rod was very rusty, and trickling in from outside the rooms, there was a extreme smell of bleach and bug spray that was really hard to take in. Other than this, it was a pleasant stay.
Very happy and will definitely be back. Excited to have found this treasure. Owners are beyond nice! The grounds are amazing with huge trees and lots of places to sit including two hammocks we enjoyed an afternoon nap in after visiting several of the local wineries. Great experience!
One of our favorite places to stay! The staff are above average and the rooms could not be cleaner! Maybe there is a new chef in town but the food was not as it had been...less than our expectations of prior experiences there.
We had mostly positive thoughts of the Square Inn. It was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was better than expected. The host were very pleasant and helpful. The only downside was the room decorations - felt a little like visiting my grandmother. That would not stop me from returning to this inn.
I can not say enough good things about this place! My husband and I have stayed here on 3 separate occasions for our anniversary and I know for a fact that we will be back again. Creekhaven is such a nice relaxing place. There are chairs for you to sit on out on the property and take in all the beautiful scenery. Bill & Pat are very nice people and will always help with anything you need. I already can't wait to go back!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Creekhaven Inn. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. As I learned when booking, each room is different, and I opted to stay in the wild honeysuckle room. It was spacious and included a large jetted tub and balcony. The room also contained a mini-fridge and microwave which I appreciated. The inn sits on Cypress Creek and there were several chairs, hammocks, and kayaks available for our use. There are other outside seating areas closer to the inn, and also a hot tub. The complimentary breakfast buffet had plenty of options and went beyond the normal breakfast offerings to include a delicious egg and spinach dish. It is minutes from Wimberley square. We brought bikes and went riding into town as well as on a bike trail near Blue Hole park. I can’t say enough nice things about my stay. Everyone is friendly, the bed and pillows are exceedingly comfortable and the grounds are scenic. I would definitely stay here again.
We had an issue with the a/c in our room. I called the front desk and they immediately handled the issue. They put us in another room for the night and in the morning had a repair guy come out and fix the problem. The property is gorgeous and so relaxing. Had a great time and I would definitely return!
This B&B is very nice, good attention to detail, very clean. I liked the B&B being close to activities and the staff was very informative about where to dine and activities in Wimberly and other areas. I noticed the owner was very attentive to 1 patron who wanted her food prepared a certain way. If you like bacon with your breakfast, be sure and ask for more than the 1 strip you receive.
